scale-network -- Switch Configs and Stickers from the Same Source

What do switch configurations, PERL, vinyl stickers, a GIT Repo, PostScript, and Tab Delimited files all have in common?

They're all part of how we keep the SCaLE network running. At a previous SCaLE, Rob covered how we use some of these tools to control , image, and manage our Wired Access Points. This talk will delve into the tools and techniques we use to image, manage and document the configuration and software on our switches.

Juist a few of the questions we will answer that you probably never thought to ask:

  • How do they build out a network with 50+ switches in just 3 days?
  • What kind of software controls the SCaLE network?
  • What does it take to keep that all consistent?
  • What really goes on in Room 204?
  • What is an ex4200-48p?
  • What does this have to do with the weight of an unlaiden swallow?
