Container Automation With Docker: No More Shelling Out!

Docker has made some substantial improvements to its developer libraries in the last couple of years.  In this talk we will learn how to approach image building and container creation programmatically using the Docker Buildkit client library. We will look at best practices for container use and development, learn how containers tie into CI/CD and production readiness,  and look at some code to abstract away common patterns.
This talk is for you if you've run "docker build ." too many times, but also if you're someone interested in learning about some basics of container-oriented development.
