The presentation will take place in Room 104 on Saturday, March 7, 2026 - 11:00 to 17:00
The Next Generation Workshop Room is a hands-on learning space for middle and high school students to explore open source technology through interactive activities. Participants can drop in to experiment, build, and learn alongside mentors and volunteers. No prior experience needed! Activities are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and give students real exposure to how open source is used in the real world.
Activities and demonstrations include 3D printing, coding with micro:bits, learning the Linux command line, AI Generative Art, working with NASA data, robotics, and an open source "petting zoo."
Check back here or on the SCALE Youth: The Next Generation event page for more details soon.
