Cancellation Policy
Cancellations of your attendee registration can be made for any reason, but must be received at least 30 days prior to the event. Cancellation requests must be made in writing via fax, email or postal mail. Refunds of tickets and sponsorships will be provided in the form of credit for future events.
Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. You may transfer your individual registration to another person until 48 hours prior to the event by providing authorization of the transfer via email to orders@socallinuxexpo.org. Sponsorships are not transferable.
COVID-19 Policy
SCaLE follows and enforces health and safety guidelines as recommended by the California Department of Public Health, Los Angeles County Health, and the CDC with regards to COVID-19. When purchasing a ticket to SCaLE, you attest that you understand, accept, and will comply with our COVID-19 policies, precautions and safety guidelines. We are not able to offer refunds based on disagreements with this policy or failure to comply.
Shipping Policy
SCaLE and Linux Expo of Southern California will not ship anything as part of your registration / donation. You will receive an email receipt for any transaction.
Privacy Policy
The Linux Expo of Southern California gathers personal information from people who register to attend SCaLE. This information is ONLY used by SCaLE to improve future events. We may (on request and at our discretion) agree to share demographic information with other groups that participate in SCaLE to improve their offerings. Such information will only include demographics that are not identifiable to any individual.
We'll treat your personal information like your other valuable possessions: with great care.
Note that you can give your badge information to vendors if you're interested in getting more information about their products. That's voluntary, and SCaLE does not participate in that information exchange.
