The OWASP Los Angeles chapter founded in 2008, is one of the most active chapters of the Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP), a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization focused on improving the security of all software. Our mission is to improve software security through Open Source initiatives, community education, and networking. Recognized for its Top-10 list, OWASP has elevated its AI-focused work through the OWASP GenAI Security Project, now a flagship initiative of the Foundation, advancing secure AI adoption and governance, including frameworks, policies, and best practices.
