Do you think you're a REAL hacker? Test your skills by competing in the SCaLE Annual Capture the Flag competition, presented by the Forensics and Security Technology (FAST) club from Cal Poly Pomona. The jeopardy-style competition will be chock-full of challenges in several different categories such as cryptography, networking, forensics, and more! You may even be tested on your knowledge of Linux and the open-source ecosystem... Solve as many challenges as you can to rack up the most amount of points. Whether you're completely new to cybersecurity or a longtime CTF player, this competition will feature something new for everybody!
This event will be held in the Cyber Lobby on March 7th from 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM. After briefing, participants will have 4 hours to finish the competition. To play in the CTF, participants must BRING THEIR OWN DEVICE. Some challenges may require Internet downloads and audio, so headphones and a way to connect your device with ethernet is encouraged. Switches will be provided in the competition area.
Prizes:
Winners will be scored based on time and points accumulated, so try to solve as many challenges as you can! The top five at the end of the competition will receive prizes.
