The presentation will take place in Ballroom F on Thursday, March 5, 2026 - 14:00 to 14:20

“OS of Life” explores what it means to build an operating system not for machines, but for human bodies and lives. Jowan Österlund, co‑founder and president of MYRA, will share how his team is developing a self‑powered subcutaneous biosensor that continuously tracks key biomarkers inside the body—turning each person into the sovereign owner of a rich, real‑time health data stream.
Connecting to the Summit’s Personal AI and decentralization theme, Österlund will describe a future where that data feeds local, agentic Personal AIs that help us manage risk, prevent disease, and make everyday choices—without handing raw biometrics to centralized platforms. He will also reflect on his journey from biohacking and “internet of us” implants to regulated medical devices, and outline how an “OS of Life” could give individuals durable identity, portable health context, and new forms of consent and control over how their most intimate data is used.
