Your Baby Can Hack

With an understanding of how children learn and what skills are of the most value in the dynamic field of technology, we can see how open source is uniquely suited to introducing technology to young children in meaningful ways. This presentation will examine how children acquire the skills that will help them develop the technologies of the future and how parents, teachers, and mentors can avoid the pitfalls of dumbed-down technology and rote learning.
