From raw earth to homestead living, house and farm, using Open Source Hardware. This is what's possible with the Open Source eco system of hardware developed by Marcin Jakubowski; refined and implemented by him and his Open Source community.

Since 2003 Marcin has had the seed of an idea brewing the would ultimately develop into Open Source Ecology (OSE) in 2008. This launched the Global Village Construction Set (GVCS), a set of 50 industrial machines that could be built from scratch using off the shelf hardware and shared openly.

In 2011 the TED Talk 'Open-sourced blueprints for civilization' brought global awareness to the cause. In 2016 the organization launched OSE School which became the Open Source Microfactory STEAM Camp and Apprenticeship Program.

Now his community is building affordable housing using completely Open Source modular designs.
