Linux on iPad?
Yes you can!!! StarNet will demonstrate iLIVEx, an iPad app for remote display of Linux desktops or individual applications on the Apple iPad. Unlike other remote desktop solutions for the iPad, like VNC, iLIVEx performs at LAN-like speed and consumes a fraction of the data over 3G networks. ILIVEx will even allow desktop sharing with other iPads and desktop systems and also allows the Linux apps to displayed through conference room projectors.
StarNet will also demonstrate ExtremeX, a revolutionary new high-speed solution for remote display of Linux desktops on desktop and laptop systems. ExtremeX connections outperform traditional X11 connections by a factor 5 or more.
