Vicențiu is a Senior Software Developer and Team Lead at MariaDB Foundation. Vicențiu has contributed substantial features to MariaDB Server, including SQL Standard Roles and Window Functions. To ensure that MariaDB has a thriving community Vicențiu ensures that distribution and packaging related bugs are fixed in a timely manner. Additionally, he encourages new contributors by mentoring students as part of outreach programs such as Google Summer of Code.
