Become a Kubernaut

With thousands of contributors, you'd think that Kubernetes wouldn't need any more -- but you'd be wrong. Re-defining the cloud takes every helping hand we can get, including yours. Let this talk give you a jump-start into becoming a "Kubernaut".

We'll go over the basics of how the Kubernetes community and project is structured, and how to find the best place for you to contribute. You'll learn how the quarterly release schedule works, and how that affects your submissions. Then we'll explore three common paths to participation, including:

* Documentation and other non-code contributions
* Contributing to kubernetes/kubernetes
* Participating in, or creating, non-core projects

Yes, you are welcome in the fastest-growing large open source project today, and it's easier to get involved than you might think. This presentation will let you know where to start.

Attendees should be familiar with basic container concepts and GitHub. This talk is not affiliated with
