Mr. Bennett has 20 years of experience as an information technology professional, and has been overseeing elections and voting systems technology innovation and management for Los Angeles County since 2004. Mr. Bennett has served in over twelve major elections leading technical operations, including voter precincting, redistricting, election configuration, ballot layout, sample ballot production and distribution, voting system programming and testing, and election tally and results reporting. With a background in systems architecture, project management, and digital strategies, he has led the implementation of several innovative systems for geospatial election data processing, address management, election management, and voting. He is currently the VSAP Program Manager for the County and is spearheading the program effort to chart an open technology path for the VSAP.
