Dmitri Zimine

Dmitri has led engineering at a number of organizations, most recently leading the vSphere client team at VMware where he also worked on a variety of related projects. While at VMware he led a substantial refactoring of vSphere and was primarily responsible for the end user experience of a product that generates the majority of VMware’s revenues.

Prior to VMware Dmitri was head of engineering at Opalis. Opalis was purchased by Microsoft and is now Microsoft’s System Center Orchestrator. Opalis is credited with inventing the run book automation market.
