Building IoT Architectures with MongoDB

Audience:

IoT workloads can induce high load on backend data layers. Building a data service to support the load is particularly trick as these system must provide high availablitily and an abililty to scale out predicatbly. However, ability to perform analytics on the inbound dataset is an additional requiurement discussed less often. The ubiquity of networked devices has provided a rich and broad dataset from which un a opportunity to enhance user engagement via analytics.

This talk will examine the use of MongoDB to service high IoT workloads,  while assuring high availability and integration with analytics frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop. This includes database architecture, schema design, document models and connecting to Spark/Hadoop.
