Speaker Interview: Bryan Lunduke

Bryan Lunduke expects that you might -- you just might -- have your mind blown at his SCALE 13x presentation, "Windows is Awesome," on SCALE 13x Sunday at 11:30. The SCALE Team caught up with Bryan to ask him about his talk.

Q: Could you please introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?

A:  My name is Bryan Lunduke. I used to be a software developer. That was hard work, so I became a software executive. That, likewise, was hard. So now I write Linux and Open Source articles for Network World, Linux.com and the like. I also do marketing work for SUSE. Also podcasts (one of the co-hosts of Bad Voltage and the original host of the Linux Action Show). And puppets. Sometimes I do things with puppets.

Q: You're giving a talk on Windows is Awesome. Without tipping your hand on the actual talk, can you give us an idea of what we might expect?

A: You might expect to have your mind blown, that's what you might expect. I'm giving a presentation called "Windows is AWESOME" at a Linux conference. How could it not be spectacular?

Q: Is this your first visit to SCALE? If so, what are your expectations? If not, can you give us your impressions of the event?

A: Yes. Yes, it is my first visit to SCALE. I anticipate synergy. Also cohesiveness. And business continuity. Plus a good ROI coupled with low TCO.

Q: How many high-fives do you intend to give out at SCALE?

A:  Infinity. Infinity high-fives.

Q: Is there anything else you'd like to add?

A: Yes.
