SCALE 20X will be here in just over 3 months, so we wanted to update you on the COVID-19 policies for this year.
SCALE will follow the guidelines provided by Pasadena Health Department, CA Department of Public Health, CDC, and any other health departments who have jurisdiction over our area or event. At the time of writing (November 14, 2022) there are no requirements for us to have a mask or vaccine mandate so we are not planning to do so.
However, it is important to understand that COVID-19 is fluid. As we saw in early 2022, we had a bad enough wave we ended up postponing the conference. If another such wave were to come at the time of SCALE 20X, guidance may change and we may need to enforce mandates of some variety. If anything changes, we will update this page.
