Deb came to the free software movement via her social justice work to preserve civil liberties and protect free speech. She currently divides her time between Community Outreach for the Open Invention Network and Community Management for Media Goblin. When she's not doing either of those things, she is slowly pursuing a degree in Computer Science and helping with the Boston Python Workshops for women and their friends.
