Device Identity, and why it matters

Topic:

If someone phoned you, said they were your customer and asked you to change the delivery address for an upcoming order, you'd probably want some evidence that they were who they said they were. It ought to be the same with computers - if a computer contacts your service, you'd want some way of knowing that it's the computer it claims to be. This talk will discuss why a strong sense of device identity is important for security, along with some horror stories of IoT vendors getting it wrong.
