Michael Gat is a Pythonista, project manager and consultant with 20+ years of experience applying complex data in business. He is primarily focused on data-intensive projects in commercial and non-consumer spaces and recently served as pro-bono project manager for the NSF-funded National Transportation Data Challenge. His driving passion is making use of the data, algorithms, math and models that underlie the hype of today’s tech world. He strives to use data resources to deliver positive change and improvements to his clients and employers.
Michael has worked at Morgan Stanley, Intel, HP, and Pfizer, among others. He has managed geographically dispersed teams in India, China, Singapore, Mexico, Israel, Germany and the U.S.
