Stephen Arnold

Steve is a local (Central Coast) open source developer, engineering consultant, and educator, with expertise in open source hardware, software, development/process solutions, system architecture & cybersecurity, education/training, business process, community development (maker/hacker/DIY/etc), and applied earth science. Steve has a graduate degree in geophysics, is currently Principal Scientist at Vanguard Computer Technology Labs and former Allan Hancock Assoc. Faculty, and has worked on everything from aerospace, to medical devicees, to education. He is an active open source developer and member of several scientific/professional organizations, presenting regularly at conferences, education symposia, and open source meetings.
