Panel: Open Source Enforcement

Open source software has reached critical mass, widely used by many commercial companies. Along with the widespread adoption are many opportunities for compliance failures, which may be the result of a misunderstanding about how to do license compliance, poor record keeping on inbound software, the confusing and almost irreconcilable array of license notice and attribution requirements, or flagrant disregard for open source license requirements. Further complicating matters, a single project will have many different contributors, each with their own view on the appropriate ways to enforce the same license. The panelists, each from different sectors of the open source software industry, will share their experiences, thoughts and opinions on open source license enforcement.
