Building CNI Plugins for Container Runtimes

The Container Network Interface (CNI) is an becoming the de facto standard for implementing plugins for container runtimes, and is used by Mesos, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, etc. In this talk, we’ll walk through the process of implementing an IPAM plug-in for Kubernetes and key lessons learned along the way. We’ll conclude with a demo of the plugin, and important takeaways for building additional plugins across additional orchestrators and runtimes.
