Rounding out the roster of SCALE 14X keynote speakers, Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth will give the Saturday morning SCALE 14X keynote on the topic of free software in the brave new world of the Internet of Things. Shuttleworth's keynote will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Pasadena Convention Center's Ballroom DE.
He joins Cory Doctorow and Sarah Sharp as keynote speakers for SCALE 14X. Doctorow will speak on "No Matter Who's Winning the War on General Purpose Computing, You're Losing" at 9 a.m. Friday morning, Jan. 22 in Ballroom DE. Sharp will speak on "Improving Diversity with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" at 10 a.m. Sunday morning, Jan. 24, in Ballroom DE.
