Ubucon Calls For Speakers

From Guest Blogger and Ubucon organizer Nathan Haines:

Ubucon, now in its 3rd year, will return to SCALE 10X and will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, prior to the main Expo. We are looking for presentations on topics that would be of interest to casual and beginning users. A presentation might be as simple as how to use Evolution to tie together your email, calendaring, and contacts, and how that integrates into the GNOME desktop. If it's something useful that you wish you'd have known as a beginning Ubuntu user then it's fair game.

Part unconference, part scheduled sessions, Ubucon SCALE 10X will cover topics of interest to new and intermediate Ubuntu users as they grow in their new OS. Attendees are encouraged to volunteer to discuss any aspect of the community they are interested in during a round of lightning talks. If you use Ubuntu, are interested in Ubuntu, or want to know more about Ubuntu then check back to pick which sessions you want to be part of, and participate in Ubucon SCaLE10X!

If you have a topic you'd like to present check the Ubucon website. The deadline for Ubucon submissions is Monday, December 12th, 2011.
