Registration for SCALE 14x is now open -- be the first in your neighborhood to register for the largest community-run Linux expo in North America.

The Full Access Pass, which provides access to all SCALE sessions, is $75. The Expo Only Ticket, providing access to exhibit hall only, is $15. The exhibit halls for SCALE 14x are open on Saturday and Sunday only.

Moving Uptown: SCALE 14x at Pasadena Convention Center

The Southern California Linux Expo continues to grow with each passing year. So SCALE 14X – the 14th annual Southern California Linux Expo – opens a new chapter in the SCALE saga by changing venues: SCALE 14X will be held at the Pasadena Convention Center from Jan. 21-24, 2016. As the first-of-the-year Linux and Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) expo in North America, SCALE 14X opens with a larger venue which will accommodate more exhibitors, as well as more sessions, tutorials and special events. 

Held annually in Los Angeles, SCALE is the largest community-run FOSS conference in North America.

Q: Could you please introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?

A: My name is Justin Mayer. I design and build software for the web and mobile devices. For a few years I lived and worked in Japan, which was a fun experience. I only came back to my hometown of Los Angeles because I missed breakfast burritos. And my family. But mostly the burritos.

Q: Can you please introduce yourself and tell me a little bit about your background?

A: I’m from Southern California and have wonderful family and friends. I've been fortunate to spend a decade in data science, scaling up Linux at UCLA and USC.
