Container Registries: Then and Now

Containers have taken the world by storm and, with them, has come the requirement to store and distribute the images behind these containers via a registry. This talk will discuss the history and architecture of Quay, the world's first and longest-running secure container registry, from the very earliest days to the latest and greatest current data models. The overall goal will be educating on how registries work, how they have evolved over the years, and how they will continue to evolve in the future.
