Open Source Radio

What’s all around us but you can’t see it? No, besides the air… Yes, radio waves!

With the average smart phone having four or more radios and nearly everything in our lives being connected, the RF airwaves are a fantastic space for exploration.  But where to begin? With open source, of course!

There’s a world of Software Defined Radios (SDR) in the open source hardware (OSH) community.  Naturally there are many open source software applications that you can use with these SDRs.  The combination gives you all the tools you need to start poking around the RF space.

Join me for an educational session including a live demonstration of open source SDR tools.
