	 Dan Frye 
	
	 
	Dan Frye is a co-author of IBM's original strategy papers on Linux and
	Open Source. As the Founder and Director of the Linux Technology Center,
	he overseeing IBM's Linux technical strategy and participation in the
	Open Source Linux development community.
  
	Dr. Frye has an M.A. in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University and a
	B.A. in Physics from the University of Idaho. He also received his Ph.D.
	in Theoretical Atomic Physics from The Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Frye
	is a core team member of the U.S. Government Presidential Information
	Technology Advisory Committee on open source.
  
	Dr. Frye's talk is titled "The Next step: Linux in an on Demand World"
