David Kaiser

David is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Hortonworks, specializing in deployment and application of open-source Hadoop, assisting customers with scalable solutions for data processing and analysis. Most of David's career has centered around data warehousing or data processing, often using open-source software.

In his spare time he hacks on many electronic music projects, creating electronic synthesizers, amplifiers, various human-control-interfaces for instruments, and the music that results from those hobby projects.
