Topic:

Any newcomer into cybersecurity will find lots of information. This presentation will open with a quick discussion of the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), followed by links to cybersecurity introductory information. Then it continues with resources and links in three broad classifications in cybersecurity as I see them:
Management – covers compliance, policy, procedures, privacy, risk, legal, HR, awareness training, physical security, most non-technical security issues
Infrastructure – covers network, cloud, wireless, third-party applications, incident response, most technical items that are not created by the organization but enable the work to get done
Engineering – covers applications, services, website, software development, anything the organization creates, builds, sells, or provides to customers

The presentation then provides links to related subjects. There will also be links to additional subjects like security organization meetings in the Los Angeles area, and a little bit about certifications, free courses (e.g. cybrary), and technical information (e.g. kali, vulnhub)
